(to be continued for experimentation ... somehow i get a little thing about hitting the functions two by two and somehow the signal gets a little unique....)
Recent Note: The new version of freac just came out at this moment in typing (v1.1 appimage for linux) and i tried somthing out where i put the signal processing options: Format Converter and Sample Rate Converter in a particular and interesting order inside the selection window. Im not sure if the new version got revised in the code parts when the latest version came out but i remember trying to experiment where i put Sample Format Converter First to 16 Integer and on the next line Sample Rate Converter. The result in the previous version didnt make a difference but in this version it does. Im not sure if anyone is aware of this but when i reencoded the Tool Digital Catalogue with FLAC and with custom options with the window functions above i used the mentioned technique of putting Sample Format Converter in the first option line and the Sample Rate Converter in the second line, whereas ... this version edits the formatted songs in order rather in previous version of freac the order didnt matter so Kausch recoded and with the new version the order of which is Sample Format and Sample Rate process the files in the same order of conversion. whereas ... youll notice that when using 16 bit Integer and Sample Format is placed before using Sample Rate Converter and the custom options with namely, the window functions used above, youll get a really bite out of the signal window during playback that isnt noticable if not options are not applied in sequence like mentioned above. There is a huge difference and there is like a sharper bite in the phones and the decoding and playback is a lot more enjoyable however i say this if you knew it or not please take notice and try it because youll get a WHOLE DIFFERENT headphone experience if you try it. Its pretty damn awesome i can get that bigger bite out of the phones output that i havent noticed before. Its damn good.
Recent Note upon updating the Signal Window List (yet again): Soon as i put the Sony NW-A55 Volume on '115' setting i noticed the clearer picture on how specific the signal gets with the set. The two tukey functions after one another in some of the plots in the list allow me to notice a little swing whereas youll find it missing in regular non-custom encoding attempts. The swing is where i must say is that the album in analog amplifiers on portable cd players make up for most of which this sort of thing with the album's proper placement where listening with headphones makes the idea go for much of which you can take the custom encoding to that point in ways there is similarity. It mostly seems once more that the album is really meant to played whereas this encoding set allowed me to notice that much. The quality is really great and im happy now.
