it seems i figured out a way to keep the conversion up to the standard of quality for my sony player. my apodization might need some fine tuning but it seems my cd copies over conversions really payed off with setting the cd copy conversion to 16000 sample blocksize, 16 lpc, 15, 15, 15 slider values. a second conversion after cd copy with gauss functions set in place for the first conversion and the second conversion gauss functions removed. the player seems to behave well with the signal and the amplifier capacitors seem to be working out small details in terms of the sound quality and power output. if you get around to setting up your conversion over cd copy try using the 16000, 16 , 15, 15 slider value setup.
