it seems for me one partial_tukey function works really nicely for the whole window setup. now i have to figure out what functions to use.

here is a lateralus album by tool i ripped recently with FLAC customization using window parameters that were in place for a custom variation i chose myself to give a desired result. its a fresh rip and you can alter window values with different slider values over each conversion as you wish. its a good place to start realizing the intricacy of how flac conversion works for better quality.
