the linear predicter in the flac endcoder is really interesting and maybe if i get it right it allows the phone to sort of elongate or shorten the bandwidth over certain detailing of how the window functions play the role of simple, acoustics and percussion. i must make aware also that flac alone wouldnt really make up for good encoding without a presetup from an other lossless format. Creative Labs voc format is good for pre-setup and musepack also. to compensate for the elongation or short bandwidth in the flac option you really must think of presetup with another format because in my experiences the flac encoder in freac is maintaining to me that it doesnt really have good maintenence on the volume or gain aspect or surrounding push on the circumference of the headphones when listenting to mainly in the acoustics part in the tool albums i like. another encoder where there might be some play on volume might as well be aware to me to use but all i know is freac encoder for now. i run linux and windows and if i find an encoder to purchase on windows i might find it better so ill look around. im new to media players because they only been coming up in market options for music listening for some small amount of time. all i got used to was portable cd players and they really were very nice to have and it seems the players or the encoding needs a little help from the user to get at least some clear moments coming out of the player capability.
